DocuGlance (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is designed with privacy as a core principle. The entire application, including all AI processing features, runs securely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, analyze, or sell any personal data or document content.


This Privacy Policy explains how DocuGlance handles your information.

1. No Data Collection


DocuGlance does not collect or store any personal information.

We do not gather:

  • Your name, email, or contact details

  • Uploaded documents or files

  • AI queries, summaries, or Q&A content

  • Device identifiers or analytics data

  • Usage logs or behavioral data


Nothing you do in the app is transmitted to us or any third-party server.

2. On-Device AI Processing


All AI-powered features in DocuGlance — including document summarization, search, embedding, chat-style Q&A, and PDF export — run fully on your device using Apple-provided on-device AI capabilities.


This means:

  • Your documents never leave your device

  • Your queries are not uploaded or logged

  • No remote model, server, or cloud provider processes your data

  • Even we (DocuGlance developers) have no visibility into your content


Your information remains entirely private.

3. Your Documents, Your Responsibility


By using DocuGlance, you acknowledge and confirm that:

  • You own the rights to any document you upload or process in the app, or

  • You have obtained all necessary permissions to use such documents


DocuGlance does not verify file ownership, copyright status, or licensing.

We assume that you have lawful rights to view and process any document you load into the application.

4. Optional iCloud Sync (If Enabled by You)


DocuGlance may offer an optional feature that stores your documents or metadata in your personal iCloud account.


Important notes:

  • Sync occurs only to your iCloud account, controlled by Apple

  • We (the developers) have no access to this data

  • Apple’s iCloud Terms & Privacy Policy apply to synced content


You can disable sync at any time.

5. App Purchases and Subscriptions


If you subscribe to premium features using Apple’s In-App Purchase system:

  • Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple

  • DocuGlance does not store or access your payment information

  • Subscription status is validated using Apple’s on-device entitlement system


We do not share any subscription-related data with third parties.

6. No Third-Party Services


DocuGlance does not integrate with or send data to:

  • Advertising networks

  • Analytics platforms

  • Social media providers

  • Third-party tracking SDKs

  • Remote AI APIs


There is zero tracking in the app.

7. Children’s Privacy


DocuGlance does not knowingly collect any personal information and is safe for users of all ages.

However, users must ensure they comply with local laws when handling document content.

8. Security


Because all data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account, your privacy is protected by:

  • Your device’s built-in security

  • Apple’s sandboxing

  • Apple’s iCloud protections (if you sync)


We strongly recommend keeping your device updated and secured.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

Any changes will be reflected in the app or on our official website.

Your continued use of DocuGlance after changes are made constitutes acceptance.
